Dr. Celia Olson was born and raised in Berkeley and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Stanford University. After living in Seattle for several years, she decided to pursue her dream of caring for animals. She graduated from Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984 and moved back to California to practice.
Since 2004 she has been exclusively a general practitioner for small animals. She joined Codornices Veterinary Clinic in winter of 2017. Her special interests are in neurology, dermatology, and dentistry. Dr. Olson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Contra Costa Veterinary Medical Association.
When not in San Francisco she spends time at assisted living facilities helping the elderly people care for their pets. She also enjoys hiking; gardening, gymnastics, and life at home in Berkeley with her spaniel mix "Musette", her tabby cat "Tarzan", and "Ginger" the chicken.
Dr. Olson is also very proud of her two sons who are attending college in southern California pursuing degrees in medicine and architecture.
