Dr. Ruochen Wu joined Codornices Veterinary Clinic in July 2025. She has a passion for clinical and anatomic pathology and previously worked at the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Lab. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, crocheting, and spending time with friends and her kitten, Toto. She is fluent in Mandarin.

Dr. Adrienne Bentley, a Cornell graduate and board-certified large animal internist, transitioned to small animal practice after moving to California. A Berkeley native, she's thrilled to be back in the Bay Area with her husband, two children, and cattle dog mix, Beckham.

Dr. Regina Yoo began her career at Codornices in 1997 and earned her DVM from UC Davis in 2002. She returned as an associate veterinarian in 2003. Dr. Yoo lives in Alameda with her husband, three teenagers, and two dogs, Auggie and Hazel. She enjoys hiking, traveling, concerts, and true crime podcasts.

Dr. David Grant earned his DVM from UC Davis in 1993 and joined Codornices Veterinary Clinic in 2004. With experience in small and mixed animal practice, he lives in El Cerrito with his wife, two children, three dogs, and a senior cat, Haley.

Dr. Erica Gurley earned her DVM from UC Davis in 2002 and completed an internship at Michigan State University. A Bay Area native, she returned home in 2003 and joined Codornices Veterinary Clinic in 2010.

Dr. Lie, a UC Davis graduate, joined Codornices Veterinary Clinic full time in 2019. A Diplomate of the ABVP in canine and feline practice, he's passionate about medicine, surgery, and dermatology. Outside work, he enjoys trail running, backpacking, and time with his pets.

A dedicated professional with over 42 years in the veterinary field, Nancy has been with Codornices for over 8 years, loves assisting all affectionate pets, enjoys trivia, and shares her home with her dog, Sally, and two cats, Henry and Wally.

Inspired by a lifelong interest in veterinary medicine, Allison graduated from high school to become an Animal Assistant and is now pursuing her goal to become an RVT, with a special interest in spay/neuter procedures and a busy home that includes six chickens, a bird, a cat, and a dog.
